Sweet and Spicy Wheat Dosa

                                    Sweet Wheat dosa

                              


Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1cup
Oats - 1/4 cup                                                               
Cardamom powder(elakkai thool) - a pinch
Cinnamon powder(pattai thool) - a pinch
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Boiled Milk - 1 1/2 cup
Baking soda salt - a pinch





Method:

In bowl, add wheat flour,oats,cardamom powder,cinnamon powder,powdered sugar,baking 
soda salt.

Then add the milk slowly and mix it well and make it as dosa batter.


Heat a non-stick dosa pan on medium high flame and pour a big ladleful of batter in the center of the pan. Using the back of the laddle spread the batter in the form of a big round circle.

Spread some oil around the dosa and at the center. 

After the dosa has cooked, flip it over and cook on the other side. 


Now, the healthy sweet wheat pancake is ready to serve.


Note:
Adjust the sugar level according to your sweet taste.


                                             

                                  Spicy Wheat Dosa

Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4tbsp
Salt - as required

In bowl, add wheat flour,oats,red chilli powder,salt,pepper powder,baking soda salt.

Then add the milk slowly and mix it well and make it as dosa batter.

Heat a non-stick dosa pan on medium high flame and pour a big ladleful of batter in the center of the pan. Using the back of the laddle spread the batter in the form of a big round circle.

Spread some oil around the dosa and at the center.

After the dosa has cooked, flip it over and cook on the other side.

Serve it with curd.

Note:
Adjust the red chilli level according to your spicy taste.

  2. I too make sweet dosa similar way with jaggery,loved the addition of oats to wheat dosa,makes it healthy n filling...spicy version also sounds yumm, try with addition of some finely chopped onions!!
