Soya Chunks Upma/ Meal Maker Upma

  Meal maker upma is very easy to prepare and protein rich breakfast.



Meal maker/soya chunks - 1 cup(small size)      
Onion - 1(finely chopped)
green chilli - 2(cut lengthwise)                                
ginger - 1 inch(smashed)
Carrot - 1/2 cup(chopped)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup(chopped)
Mustard seed(Kadhugu) - 1tbsp
urad dal(Ulundhu) -1tbsp
Bengal gram(kadhalai parupu) - 1tbsp
Curry leaves - little
Coriander leaves - little
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp



Soak the meal maker balls in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain the water. Wash in cold water. 
Squeeze out the extra water.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed,urad dal,bengal gram and stir it for a min.

After splutter, add curry leaves and onion & fry it until they transparent.

Add green chilli,ginger and stir it.

Add chopped carrot and cabbage & mix it. Sprinkle some water and close with lid &
cook it for 2 mins.

Add meal maker and stir it well. Then turn off the stove.

Finally add 2tbsp of lemon juice and mix it well.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Now, simple and protein rich soya upma is ready to serve.
