Semiya Dosa

Semiya -  1 cup
Rice flour  -  ½ cup
Yogurt/ curd -  1 cup
Red chilli powder  - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves  - 2 to 3 finely chopped
Coriander leaves -  1 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Onion - 1 finely chopped
oil - 3 tbsp

Method :
Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of oil and fry the semiya for 2 mins.

In a bowl, add the yogurt and thin it out with ½ cup of water. Stir and add salt, curry leaves, coriander leaves, onion and red chilli powder.

Add the semiya and rice flour and mix it thoroughly. The batter should not be thick.

Keep the mixture aside for 30 minutes.

Heat a non-stick dosa pan on medium high flame and pour a big ladleful of batter in the center of the pan. Using the back of the laddle spread the batter in the form of a big round circle.

Spread some oil around the dosa and at the center.

After the dosa has cooked, flip it over and cook on the other side.

Serve hot with chutney.

Prepare the dosa in medium to low flame. This way the dosa gets cooked well without getting burnt.
