Mullangi(Radish) Poriyal


Mullangi(radish) - 4                                                       
Small onion - 10
Mustard - 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
Bengal gram - 1/2tbsp
Grated coconut - 1/4cup
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Dhaniya( Coriander) powder - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - for seasoning
Curry leave


Peel the outer skin of radish and make even slits with the knife and grate it finely

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad and bengal gram. After splutter,a
dd curry leave,onion and fry it well. 

After 2 mins ,add radish,red chilli powder,coriander powder and salt. Sprinkle some water,  and close the lid. Cook for few mins. 

Then open the lid, add grated coconut and cook it for 2 mins

Serve it with sambar rice.
