Egg Gravy


Egg - 4 nos 
Oil - 1 tbsp 
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 strand
Onion - 1 (Finely Chopped)
Tomato -1
Turmeric -1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves to garnish

For Grinding:

Ginger - 1(small size)
Garlic : 5 -6 pods
Cumin Seed - 1/2 tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Coconut : 4 tbsp

Method :
  • Heat 2 tbsps oil in a heavy bottomed vessel, add the clove,cinnamon,chopped onion,curry leave one by one and saute for 2 mins until it turns golden brown.
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes & cook until soft. 
  • Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder,turmeric powder ,salt & fry till the raw smell goes & oil comes on sides.
  • Add the ground paste and cook for 8-10 mts. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil.
  • After that, break the egg one by one into the masala and let it cook for 7 to 8mts on medium flame. Reduce flame and cook till you get the desired curry consistency. Dont Stir it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis or white rice.
